From California to Oregon to Ashby Ponds

Hello again!

So I hadn't blogged in a few months because I had been so busy job hunting, which, let me tell you, is a full time job in itself. For all of you out there searching for that perfect job, don't give up hope. I know it can seem like nothing is ever going to happen but trust me, it will!

That being said, I am happy to announce that about a month ago, I began my career at Ashby Ponds, an Erickson Living Retirement Community, where I am a Community Resources Coordinator. I work within the Resident Life team to coordinate activities and events around campus.

I was first contacted by Ashby Ponds while my family and I were on vacation out in California and Oregon. Needless to say I was more than excited as that trip was a few months into my job search so I was feeling pretty discouraged. Long story short, I ended up with both beautiful pictures of California and my dream job and I couldn't be more thankful for both. Enjoy!
